Set up the tripod
Build a stable 170 cm Complete Kit tripod setup and place it safely.
Open and place the tripod
Choose firm ground
Stay outside play, walkways, doors, and spectator traffic.
Spread all legs
Open the three legs fully before extending height.
Level the base
Adjust the position until the tripod head and mount are upright.
Lock each section
Extend one section at a time and close every lock firmly.

Attach the mount and phone
Keep the tripod low
Attach equipment before raising it to full height.
Screw on the mount
Turn it onto the 1/4"-20 screw by hand until secure.
Fit the phone
Centre the iPhone in the clamp and keep the camera lenses clear.
Test the turn
Power on and check that cables or nearby objects cannot catch during movement.

Raise it safely
Use only the height you need
A lower tripod is safer and more stable.
Tighten every lock
Check from the bottom up after reaching the final height.
Press lightly to test
If the legs shift or the top sways, lower and reposition it.
