Live stream a session
Create a live link, test the connection, start recording, and monitor the stream.
Before going live
Check availability
Use Live Stream only when the control appears for your account and recording setup.
Test the internet
Use a strong, steady connection at the exact tripod position.
Connect power
Live video uses more battery and can warm the iPhone.
Tell participants
Make sure the people being filmed know the session will be shared live.
Go live with Trackd
Screen recording showing live setup, private-link sharing, start, status checks, and stopping the stream.
Create and share the viewer link
Open Record
Complete the normal recording setup first.
Tap Live Stream
Follow the setup card until the private link is ready.
Share before start
Use Share Link or Copy Link so viewers can open it early.
Test on another device
Open the link away from the recording iPhone and check picture and sound.
Start, monitor, and stop
Start recording
A running recording is the source for the live stream.
Check live status
Watch for the app to show that the stream is live, not only ready or reconnecting.
Keep the connection clear
Do not switch apps, take calls, or move the phone away from the tested signal.
Stop normally
End the recording and wait for the app to finish the session.
After the live session
- Trackd keeps recording locally while the live stream is running.
- The same private viewer link can show the replay for seven days.
- A seven-day live replay link is different from a 24-hour cloud export link.
If viewers cannot watch
- Confirm the app says Live and the recording timer is moving.
- Open the same link yourself on another connection.
- Move only if it is safe; changing tripod position means checking framing again.
- If the signal remains poor, turn off live streaming and keep the local recording.
