Record a session
Start, check, stop, and save a Trackd recording without missing the action.
Before recording
Open Record
Confirm the mount says Connected.
Check the setup pill
Make sure the mode, sport, start method, distance, and placement are right.
Check picture and sound
Clean the lens and make a short test recording.
Clear interruptions
Connect power if needed and avoid calls or apps that could interrupt the camera.
Record a complete session
Screen recording covering setup confirmation, start, active recording, stop, and review.
Start recording
Solo with palms
Raise both palms and wait for the lock, mount nod, and running timer.
Solo with double-tap
Double-tap the subject, check the lock, then tap the red button.
Group Sports
Tap the red button after the placement and aim setup is complete.
Confirm it is running
Look for the timer before walking away.
During recording
- Do not move the tripod unless you stop and set up again.
- Glance at the timer and connection status during breaks.
- Use the zoom rail only when a framing change is needed.
- Keep the phone cool, powered, and out of direct rain.
Stop and save
Tap stop
Wait while Trackd finishes the recording.
Open review
Replay the beginning and end to confirm the session saved.
Check it in Sessions
Use the thumbnail, date, and duration to find the recording again later.
Back up or export
Do not delete the local recording until the copy you need is complete and playable.
