Visual guide
Open and spread the tripod legs, adjust the leg sections and secure the locks. Attach the mount to the tripod, adjust the clamp angle and fit the phone with the lenses clear. Tighten the adjustment knobs and check stability before raising the setup. Continue with the app pairing steps below.
2. Connect the app
Turn on the mount
Hold the power button until the green status light turns on. Keep the phone close.
Open Trackd
Allow Camera and Microphone. Allow Photos if you will save exports. Notifications are optional.
Pair
Open Settings → Trackd Mount → Scan for Mount. Allow Bluetooth, tap your nearby mount, and wait for Connected.
Wait for ready
Continue only when the app shows that the mount is connected.
3. Record a test
Open Record
Choose Solo Lock or Group Sports when the recording setup opens.
Answer the setup questions
Choose the person, sport, distance, or mount position that matches your setup.
Aim at the middle
Make sure the full area of action can be reached without the tripod moving.
Follow any mount check shown
Secure the recording iPhone in the mount before confirming setup. Keep the tripod low and stable, leave room for movement, and take your hands off during the check. Some app versions guide you through a brief movement check. Follow the prompts shown in your version before recording.
Record 10 seconds
Stop, replay it, and check sound, horizon, and framing.
