Pair the mount and keep it updated
Connect the mount, change its customer settings, and complete updates safely.
Pair the mount
Turn on Bluetooth
Open iPhone Settings and make sure Bluetooth is on.
Turn on the mount
Hold the power button until the green status light turns on. Keep it close to the iPhone and away from other Trackd mounts while pairing.
Open mount settings
In Trackd, open Settings → Trackd Mount.
Scan or reconnect
Tap Scan for Mount, or Reconnect if you have paired this mount before. Allow Bluetooth when asked.
Choose the mount
Tap the nearby mount and wait for Connected.
Test movement
Use the app’s mount control or setup flow to confirm it responds.

Mount settings
Open Settings and select the connected mount. Only change controls that are shown in your app.

| Connection | Scan, reconnect, disconnect, or forget a mount |
| Battery and status | Check charge, firmware, and any fault shown by the app |
| Pan and tilt | Move the mount by hand controls while setting up |
| Centre Mount | Return the mount to its centre position |
| Direction and LED | Reverse a shown movement direction or change the status light |
| Advanced tuning | Preview the Solo nod and adjust only the controls you understand |
Install a mount update
Start with enough power
Charge the mount and iPhone first.
Keep devices together
Leave Trackd open and keep the iPhone beside the mount.
Follow the update card
Tap Update when offered and wait for the app to say it is complete.
Reconnect
If asked, turn the mount off and on, then confirm Connected.
