Edit a recording

Open the editor

   Open a session

   Choose the recording from your library.

   Tap Edit

   Move the playhead to the clip or moment you want to change.

3. 3

   Pick a tool

   Use Edit for clip tools, Marker for events, Canvas for video shape, or Rotate for orientation.

4. 4

   Tap Done

   Wait until saving finishes before closing Trackd.

Split and trim

   Select a clip

   Put the playhead on it and open Edit.

2. 2

   Split

   Place the playhead at the cut and tap Split to make two clips.

3. 3

   Trim

   Tap Trim, then drag the clip’s start or end handle to keep only the part you want.

4. 4

   Play the join

   Review a few seconds before and after every cut.

Remove or restore a clip

1. 1

   Select the clip

   Tap the clip you do not want in the finished video.

2. 2

   Tap Remove

   The clip is marked Removed and will be left out of the edited result.

   Restore if needed

   Select a Removed clip and tap Restore to put it back.

Duplicate or reorder clips

   Duplicate

   Select a clip and tap Duplicate to add a copy to the timeline.

   Open Reorder

   Select a clip, tap Reorder, then move it Earlier or Later. You can also drag when the reorder view allows it.

   Replay the sequence

   Check that the story now runs in the intended order.

Change speed or add markers

   Change speed

   Select a clip, tap Speed, and choose a slower, normal, or faster rate.

   Add a marker

   Place the playhead on the moment, tap Marker, and choose its label.

   Delete a marker

   Put the playhead on that marker, open Marker, and tap Delete.

• Marker labels include Goal, Shot, Save, Pass, Turnover, Sprint, Drill Rep, and Coaching Point.
• Markers help you find moments; they are not printed onto the exported picture.

Rotate or change the video shape

   Rotate

   Tap Rotate to turn the picture clockwise by 90° each time.

2. 2

   Open Canvas

   Choose 9:16, 16:9, 1:1, or Full.

3. 3

   Check the crop

   Play movement near every edge before saving.

Undo, redo, and save

1. 1

   Undo

   Tap Undo to step back through recent editor changes.

2. 2

   Redo

   Tap Redo if you want to put an undone change back.

3. 3

   Finish

   Tap Done and wait while Trackd makes the edited clip active.

4. 4

   Review again

   Play the full result before exporting or deleting any source footage.
