Record one person with Solo Lock
Make Trackd follow one person using Raise Both Palms or Double-Tap Subject.
Set up Solo Lock
Open Record
Tap the setup pill and choose Solo Lock.
Choose how to start
Select Raise Both Palms or Double-Tap Subject.
Choose camera distance
Pick the option that best matches how large the person looks in the preview.
Use the suggested orientation
Follow the app’s portrait or landscape recommendation.

Start with Raise Both Palms
Stand clearly in view
Face the phone with your full upper body visible and no one directly in front of you.
Raise both open palms
Hold both palms where the camera can see them.
Wait for confirmation
Trackd locks onto you, the mount nods, and recording starts automatically.
Check the timer
Begin only after the recording timer is moving.
Start with Double-Tap Subject
Ask someone to use the phone
The operator should keep the tripod steady.
Double-tap the person
Double-tap the subject in the camera preview.
Check the lock
Wait until the lock box stays on the intended person.
Tap the red button
Recording starts manually after the subject is selected.
Choose a different person
Stop the recording
Solo Lock cannot be released while recording. Stop and save the current take first.
Unlock
Press and hold the current lock box until Solo Lock releases it.
Lock again
Use the selected start method to choose the new person.
