Account, settings, privacy, and permissions
Manage sign-in, recording choices, app permissions, privacy, and account controls.
Your Trackd account
Open Settings
Your sign-in state and account actions appear near the top.
Sign in when needed
An account is needed for cloud backup and cloud sharing.
Check the email or sign-in method
Make sure you are using the same account that owns your cloud sessions.
Save copies before account deletion
Deleting the account permanently removes your profile and Trackd Cloud Backup data.
Cancel billing separately
Account deletion does not cancel an App Store subscription. Cancel it separately in Apple’s subscription settings.

Useful recording settings

What each permission does
Open iPhone Settings
Scroll to Apps, choose Trackd, and open its permissions.
Turn on what you need
Return to Trackd after changing a permission.
Try the action again
Reopen Record, pairing, or export so the app can refresh.

| Camera | Required to show the preview and record video |
| Microphone | Required to record sound |
| Photos | Needed when you choose Save to Photos |
| Bluetooth | Needed to find and control the Trackd Mount |
| Local Network | Needed for a direct Broadcast Remote connection, calibration, and controls |
| Motion | Needed to check that the mounted iPhone moves when the Mount moves |
| Notifications | Optional alerts for work such as backup or sharing progress |
Privacy basics
- Ask the venue, team, and participants before recording or live streaming.
- Treat viewer links as private information and send them only to intended people.
- Remove local, cloud, and exported copies you no longer need.
- Use the account privacy and deletion controls shown in Settings for account requests.
Privacy and diagnostics controls

| Tracking Diagnostics · Always On | Sends compact tracking traces and tapered diagnostic frame pages after recordings, starting at one frame per second and gradually reducing to one every 10 seconds; full recordings are not included |
| Training Footage Sharing | When on, uploads new recordings for human review and vision training |
| Upload Network | Diagnostic reports and enabled Training Footage uploads can use Wi-Fi or cellular data |
