With the mount secured to the tripod, adjust the phone clamp and its angle. Fit the phone securely in landscape orientation with the lenses unobstructed. Check the clamp and adjustment knobs before using the mount. Use the specification table for connection and compatibility details.
Battery life and charging your phone
The Trackd Mount has up to 8 hours of battery life per charge. Actual runtime varies with use, including charging your phone from the mount.
- Connect your iPhone to the mount with a compatible charging cable to charge your phone while recording.
- Phone charging adjusts with the phone’s battery level: faster when the battery is lower, with a gentler top-up as it fills. It does not charge at one fixed rate throughout a session.
- Check the mount’s battery status and firmware in Trackd Settings → Trackd Mount.

Keep cables, bags, and walls outside the mount’s turning area.
