Export footage for highlights, individual review, or team-wide analysis after the session.
Good for team workflows
Trackd is useful when the same setup needs to work across training, match day, review sessions, and player highlight creation.
Built for repeatable setup
A consistent mount position, sport preset, and quick preflight make it easier to capture usable basketball footage every time.
Frequently asked questions
Where should I set up Trackd for a basketball game?
Centre line of the court, 2.5 to 3 metres high, framed so both baselines stay in shot at tip-off. Trackd then tracks the ball as play moves end-to-end.
Does Trackd handle fast end-to-end transitions?
Yes — the BLE control loop runs at 30 to 50 Hz so the mount can keep up with quick transitions from defence to fast break without lag.
Can I record full-court scrimmages from the bench?
Yes. Mount Trackd above the bench line of sight, set the basketball preset, and let it track without a courtside operator.
How long does the iPhone last filming a full game?
An iPhone 13 or newer typically captures a full 40-minute game on a single charge. For tournaments, use a portable battery connected to the Lightning or USB-C port while filming.
